"Shores is one of three bands to ever play a show in our backyard. Unbeknownst to anyone involved, the members of Twelve Hour Turn walked up at the same point that Shores kicked into a cover of their song, "Little One". Curiously, Brian (NEVER a member of North Lincoln) was borrowing Rich's guitar amp. Weird. Unfortunately Kurt Cobain did not also appear, although it was Halloween at the time. Had he done so, Shores could've ripped into their even weirder and more depressing version of "Something in the Way". These two songs are outtakes from the "To Volstead" session. Fabulous!" – Var Thelin
